The temperature measurement with semiconductor sensor
Dostálek, Martin ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor work disserts on measurement of temperature using the electronic temperature sensors DS18B20, which are controlled by microcomputer type AVR. This sensors use for communication the 1-wire type data bus. The 1-wire data bus, designed by Dallas Semicondoctor, allows connect more devices to the control unit using two wires. This type of measuring elements offers simple handling for the user. The sensor transforms the measuring data directly to the digital data. The rate of the transmission is determined by number of bits in the resultant value and the sensor is programmable during attendance by the set mechanism (master). The sensor code is consistent with the value of measured temperature. That means it doesn’t require supplemental decoding. The resulting data are worked up and displayed on LCD continuously. First part of this work is focused on the theory of 1-wire element. Further, there is an explanation of the principle of the measuring sensor function and its controlling by the control unit. Next, there is a basic description of the AVR type microcomputers, more detailed description is aimed at the ATiny2313 controller, which is used in this work. The important part is dedicated to the implementation of the 1-wire protocol to the appropriate control unit.
Communication with external devices by I2C bus
Prax, Jakub ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma paper deals with the data bus line I2C and a supportive demonstration tool for the subject Microprocessor technology taught at the Radioelectronics faculty. The data bus line I2C is convenient when short-distance data transmission with restricted spatial possibilities is required but high velocity of data transmission is not necessary. The tool is compiled in such a way that enables it to also perform other tasks apart from those dealing with the I2C data bus line. The data bus line in the tool is utilized for transmission of date, time, temperature, data for the D/A converter, data from and to the EEPROM memory and data to 16 bits expander.
Wireless data transmission in ISM frequency band using Manchester encoding
Záděra, Zdeněk ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This work is dedicated to the design and implementation of modules for the bidirectional transmission of data in the ISM band (Industrial, Scientific and Medical), used for private purposes, such as the transmission of telemetry data between mobile devices in the field. Delivery is solved by using RF modules RFM12BP the maximum power 500mW, these intelligent modules are controlled with microprocessor companies ATtiny2313 Atmel. Microprocessor is also used for the transfer of serial interface between computers and RF interface module. Utility for microcontrollers is written in C language development in middle CodevisionAVR. The project is designed in cooperation with the staff development center in Brno Honeywell.
Synchronization Signal Generator for Musical Applications
Vácha, Lukáš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of MIDI´s protocol and especially by the implementation of synchronization methods. The aim of this thesis is suggestion and creating of a prototype of equipment, which transmits one sort of synchronization code and enables its direct extension on produced equipment. First part of solution of this thesis deals with MIDI in general, its history, hardware definition and protocol analysis, especially by analysis of methods and by types of synchronization. The main attention is devoted to MIDI Click/SPP code, which is also implemented in created prototype. The second part of this thesis deals with proposal of hardware solution of prototype, where is parsed a principle of involvement and used components in detail. The third part describes software proposal of solving from necessary initializations of microcontrollers up to operations with individual circumferences. There is also analyzed a customer service. Last, fourth part of thesis deals with realization of prototype, its revival and testing. There is stated value of properties of prototype, some suggestions for possible extension and summary of achieved aims of this thesis in the end.

Project and realization power tools control with PC
ČEJKA, Jan
My diploma thesis is concerned with the scheme, constructive solution and implementation of the prototype and project. Via PC with the help of a circuit ASIX FT232BM, the prototype operates a ATTiny2313 microcontroller, which enables switching of the power part and PWM modulation outputs. The project describes operating by a programmable terminal AMIT APT3100(S) connected to a PC, and the wiring of a basic safety-loop and several measuring devices.
